Boomkat Product Review:
Lean, syncopated batida bangers from Príncipe young'un PT Musik, formerly known as Puto Tito.
The Lisbon-based producer follows last year's tidy "Não Sou Perfeito" 7" with his first offering for digital-only Naive offshoot Naivety, a slithering triple-header of ruff percussive delicacies fabricated to electrify dancefloors across the diaspora and beyond. Lead track 'No Fim da Noite' is the most impressive, a playfully jerky fluxed batida monster that's got one foot in Lisbon, and the other in Durban. 'Carbono' is brief at just over two minutes, but leads with finger-snapping percussion and rolling woodblock rhythms, curving EDM synth wobbles through the kinetic, hard-swung syncopation. Heavy.
