Prolific Glasgow-based polymath Richard Youngs recorded "Ein Klein Nein" in a single day last year and builds an incense-burned, psychedelic meditation around a single piano chord and a skeletal rhythm. From the stoner almost trip-hop sound of opener "Ein Klein", we're dragged into tinnitus minimalism on "Klein Nein", thick, Spacemen 3 drugnoise on "Klein Ein" and a nervous, breathy soundscape on closer "Nein Klein". It's not gonna make any new converts, we'll be honest, but if ur a fan of Youngs' output (the man has almost managed 100 albums at this stage) and his idiosyncratic musical vision, "Ein Klein Nein" is another enjoyable addition to the heaving catalog.
