Boomkat Product Review:
'Dunno' is Lorenzo Senni's 2010 album of sheer computer music convolutions, issued on his highly esteemed Presto!? label outta Milan. It's like fizzing candy for the ears; a playfully cerebral set of dynamic and pure computer music structures informed by an accelerationist's sense of digital psychedelia comparable with modern day heroes such as Goodiepal, EVOL, Hecker or Marcus Schmickler (who also mastered this album) and the pioneering, experimental spirit of early computer musicians such as John Chowning and Gordon Mumma. It's completely marvellous stuff, deliriously drunk with futurist possibility and making canny allusions to the connection between what has been perceived as "low" rave cultures and bleeding edge technology, which would be much further explored with its follow-up album 'Quantum Jelly' for Editions Mego. Highly recommended!
