Boomkat Product Review:
Oddly melancholy chamber pop and dance music with that special DEEK touch, offered by Enchante's Guy Gormley together with singer-siongwriter Sam Bardsley.
Each one of Don't Touch Me Now's four tracks are pop-tight and infectiously groovesome but, all with an underlying sort of Canterbury strangeness.
We can't quite decide if Side By Side is a lament or celebration of company, but its hooks are very hummable all the same, love that vocal harmony in the bridge too. The bittersweet request Don't Touch Me Now sounds uncannily familiar, but that's probably just testament to the duo's classic pop stylings, whilst Bubbles is a tender ode to unrequited love set to swaying toy tones, and our favourite, Nile Splash sounds like 4th world New Beat made by pygmies.
