Boomkat Product Review:
Klakson makes a brilliant return with a mixed bag of styles from skweee's Finnish ringleader, Mesak. He tries his hand across the board, serving a classy buffet of burly techno jams, slow squashed electro experiments and late night electrohouse all tied together with a real pedigree production touch. Recent single 'Stitch Seq' gives a slightly false start with raw Steve Poindexter styles dubbed the Berlin way, before 'Xlap' returns to the sharpened electro dancefloor he's known for. Tracks such as 'Nahat' and 'Semiburger' are like beefed up versions of his Skweee trax and we should really direct you to the excellent 'Postuumi' which sounds like Mika Vainio doing a slow house track. A wickedly diverse and very enjoyable set.
