Boomkat Product Review:
These metal fusionists upset the heavy rock applecart, using a synthesizer in a fashion that would ordinarily be banished to Klaxons records, or, you know, something like that. In any case, the band's interweaving of conventional guitar sandblast strategies with a bit of electronic texture doesn't go unnoticed and only serves to amplify whatever hints at prog were already there, lurking in the background of tracks like 'Welcome Invader' and 'Venus', with its fractured quiet-loud bits. 'Instrumission' is a title worthy of Alan Partridge, but it's an instrumental err, transmission that brings to mind Mogwai in a big way, and is maybe the best thing on the EP.
