Boomkat Product Review:
Breakcore survivor and drumcorps captain, Aaron Spectre comes gnashing at the bit on a new volley for Munich/Hackney’s Jahmoni Music (DJ Marcelle, Belp)
Admirably still running amok in the jungle with knife-edge edits and ADD programming, Spectre hits mercilessly, but playful, hard from every angle across ‘Computorr’, flinging the dance from the title tune’s rushy snares, rap samples and pitching glitches to the lighter tune barrage of ‘Killasound’ on the front, before yoking back to the darkside pressure of ‘War Feeds Itself’, which strongly recalls vintage Soundmurderer and Enduser arrangements. The punky prang of ‘Inmyeyeees’ is passable, though. All brings back memories of a very rowdy John Peel tribute night.
