Boomkat Product Review:
A moody and contemplative three tracker from Mikael Stavöstrand - wavering layers of misty drones and vulnerable synth patterns consitute "kongo", a microscopic zodiac of scattered thoughts, revealing the truth that there’s beauty to be found in entropy, as the sounds dissolve and unwind in deep decay beneath you. "Compliments" tiptoes in weightless serenity, only to be kidnapped and taken to the outermost ring of the primitives for lord knows what purpose – dirty, druggy and drizzly – this is excellent and downright wrong post-acid music – awesome!. Deceptively entitled, "Discomerde" opens a tiny window on Mikael’s view of an spiral galaxy, malevolent bass sounds and determined riffing seem to propel you to its heart. The best stuff yet from Stavostrand and another chunky slab of vinyl from the Adjunct camp.
