Boomkat Product Review:
Ace bunch of sawn-off house freaks from Brooklyn's Broken Call Records, including tracks by P.O.I., Mondkopf and The Wet Taxis.
Five tracks dance on the fault lines of house, noise and abstract techno: L.I.E.S. regular P.O.I. comes off like a knackered, blue Boo Williams with 'Rip & Dip'beside the recursive $&$ grot of 'Spearheading' by Rosemary Arp.
Gaul Plus catch our ear with what sounds like Prurient and Ninos Du Brasil recorded live in a cargo train; Mondkopf beats off the gristly clench of 'Need To Control'; Wet Taxis flip out like Mr. Bungle played by mutant rats.
Definitely one of the week's most intriguing 'floor sacrifices.
