Boomkat Product Review:
“Clubber” reconciles submerged acid memories, then decides its having a rattling good time anyway and stays on the floor. The Bremen crew’s last EP for Playhouse earlier in the year was killer, if anything the stakes are raised here. The flip hits a structured funk immediately, spurts of snare and kettle drum, before a wicked descending sub bassline leaves you shedding clothes and heading for the nearest podium to dance on, while “Kratzerkiller” just totally lives up to its name. Currently, hard to find a rival for this house label for real people, and “Influence 77” only confirms this – heartbreaking melody, rude and deadly rhythm, inspired club music just the way we like it.
