Boomkat Product Review:
We've been rocking this album for what seems like most of 2005. Vadim, alongside Blu Rum 13, Yarah Bravo and the crazily talented backroom squad including Burnley's own DJ Woody and John Ellis from The Cinematic Orchestra have delivered a killer album. Yarah Bravo and Blu Rum have two of the most inspired voices on the outer branches of hip hop, Yarah able to rap in a poetic style and sing like Badu when she feels like it and Blu Rum only has the Quannum emcee's to compare to. Vadim's production depth offers new colours here, the minimal rhythmic principle is in place but it's fleshed out by rustic percussion, vocal samples, earthquake bass and all that good stuff. Twelve tracks in total with amazing artwork and packaging especially with the digipak. Ninja Tune do it again. Highly recommended.
