Boomkat Product Review:
Two thumbs up for Beau Wanzer in driving, wavy techno mode on Robert Bergman’s Brew label outta Amsterdam
Jack of all styles, Wanzer harnesses a thumping 4/4 framework in all three parts of ‘B011’, firstly commanding the dance with the purest, rutting Chicago tekkers of ‘Flesh Flush’ with its brain-drilling top-line and dry-humping bass, before dropping the tempo slightly and upping the psychedelic quotient with the sleazy darkroom slammer ‘Take Your Trash Out’, and then spending the whole B-side tweaking your feet and grey matter with the mesmerising, sweetly dissonant throb of ‘Morning Pain’.
A real doozy. Don’t sleep!
