Beardy Italo power pomp from the one referred to as Steve Moore. Taking some sexy time out from myriad other projects, he returns to the Lovelock handle he coined for an edit 12" on Mindless Boogie to fully indulge a passion for beach-toned Disco cruisers and sleeve-rolling Pop gazes. The titular opener imagines a blueprint set out by Michael Mann and Phil Collins on a dusky summer evening by the bayside in '85, while 'The Fog' takes a solitary stroll on a white sandy beach, catching breezy synth tones in his highlights before the leggy keytar and fretless bass seduction of 'Don't Turn Away (From My Love)', baybeh. Fade to montage of passionate night back at hotel. The saxed-up 'South Beach Sunrise' wafts onto the veranda, glass of Sunny D in hand and twinkle in the eye, for 'New Age Of Christ' to strut back to the bimmer and embark on a dead meaningful mission (the morning has rapidly switched back to dusk now) powered by rippling bass arpeggios, and incorporating a naughty wiggle with a big-haired enemy agent on 'Maybe Tonight'. Our slick, Sunny D-supping protagonist reaches the penultimate apex accompanied by sexface axe chops and throbbing syn-drums on 'Love Reaction' and soars off on a hang-glider to the shark-eyed pomp of 'Deco District'. A strong look for fans of Johan Agebjorn, Anton Maiovvi, Mike Oldfield.
