Superb space-dance psychedelics from Serbian artist, Nenad Marković a.k.a. 3.10.3402 for Music From Memory's Second Circle sub-print. The keener-eyed pickers may well recognise his name and sound from the self-titled EP he released with Kunstkopf (same label behind the Lena Platonos edit) in 2012, or equally his more recent, four-volume series for ESP Institute. No bother if not though as this 12" makes a fine introduction to his left-of-centre disco-delia, from the sonorous underwater alien seascapes swept up in 'Bura' to the Tabla-like percussive cadence and filigree synth layers expanding across 'Om'. On the flip, he turns that sound inside-out with the parched processing and viscous Afro-cosmic groove of 'Syg', and 'P-tok' appears to occupy two dimensions at once, with upfront groove framed against swirling backdrop of humid alien atmospheres and ether voices. Top tip for all disco shamans and dreamers!
