Boomkat Product Review:
Hood present their first "new" record in over a decade with release of British RadRs - a 7” thwarted for release in 1994, now finally seeing light of day on Madrid’s Acuarela Discos.
For their legion fans this is quite a turn up for the books, considering they’ve been absolutely absent since 2005, barring Domino’s Recollected anthology in 2011. As Richard Adams of the group’s core, sibling duo puts it “we’re glad that the record is finally coming out. They say that good things come to those who wait, but many times in the music industry, mediocre and previously released things usually come to those who wait. But whether good or not, this is a little piece of our past which shows what we were up to at the time. Like a dusty old letter that’s been found in a box, its ingredients are of its time and occasionally cringeworthy but it is is what it is and age has only preserved it.”
