Boomkat Product Review:
Big big servings from The Bug flanked by D Double E and Riko Dan for dankest dancehall refreshment.
Tried and tested on crowds and trembling sound engineers from Berlin to London over the last few months, both vocals and instrumentals are incendiary examples of Kevin Martin at his most fearsome, and, likewise, his MCs are unyielding, wickedly unfriendly.
Iceman is a fxckin’ ugly, grimacing piece of dancehall dread framed by guttural bass quakes and ricocheting drums steered on course by a stare-down Riko Dan vocal; apart from the dodgy footie references in Box, D Double E is boastfully brilliant on a crushed, acidic lead, swerving under mantrap snares and room-shuddering FX.
