Boomkat Product Review:
Under his Antonelli guise, Stefan Schwander first released the Boogie EP as a 12" on Dreck last year, predating his excellent Soulkiller LP on Italic. As with that release the productions featured here carry an uncommon warmth and vibrancy, and the sheer richness of sound suggests some sort of analogue source at the heart of it all. Compositionally, while 'Be, Bop and Boogie' is a springy, uptempo piece of micro-funk, 'Zabriskie' has more of a laidback depth, though is still very much rooted in the same sound world. Ace.
