Boomkat Product Review:
The UK's freshest soul kids follow a path of almost preordained destiny from Super to Tri Angle to Disclosure collaboration onto debut album, 'Body Music'. Nitzer Ebb this is not, but for the slinkier cats the title rings true with George Reid's supple, sumptuous production providing coiled corporeal springboard and colourful dynamics for Aluna Francis' naif, gossamer R&B flutters and Londonised pop inflections. Previous singles excepted, most of the material is brand new; twelve joyfully effervescent songs always staying on the sunny side of the street, ranging from the Zomby-esque garage bleeps and dizzily hi-pitched strings of 'Lost And Found' to the '90s-sounding R&B bump of 'Best Be Believing', the crystallised boogie of ' Kaleidoscope Love' and the adroit slowfast swerve of 'Diver'.
