Boomkat Product Review:
As anyone alive in 2007 can testify, modern life is soundtracked by the humble bleep. Whether it's bank machines, reversing lorries or XP, we seem to be drowning in an ever rising tide of electronic bleeps. It's therefore to the credit on Motor that they've taken this most everyday of sounds and conjured up repetitive magic with new single 'Bleep #1'. The kind of thing Plastikman might make were he dipped in chrome then locked in a pink-neon room, 'Bleep #1' is a rolling beast that takes its beeps very seriously - building them up incessantly against a curtain of rolling bass and pulsating bionic detritus that is a joy to behold. Very much the kind of track that would have dance floors ignited in teased glory, 'Bleep #1' is given the once over by Whitey on the back, as he takes the flamethrower to the gleaming paint job and leaves a stripped down shell in its place. Bleeping heck!
