Boomkat Product Review:
Ex-Wolf Eyes man Aaron Dilloway is one noisy b*stard, and I guess that's why we love him so much. This long sold-out LP release from 2005 sees the man on top form with two tracks of hate-ridden explosive noise utilising tape loops, feedback, and featuring a picture of a woman stabbing her husband/lover on the back of the disc. A frightful sight indeed, but not something which goes in any way to describing the kind of audio assault that's carried on the disc itself, really that has to be heard to be believed. Those of you who found yourself salivating over the Carlos Giffoni and Merzbow collaboration, or even Prurient's earlier work (before he discovered tunes) should give this a much closer inspection, it's grime-filled soundscapes to your most vivid dreams - it just depends whether you want to look that far inside yourself. Totally crushing stuff!
