Boomkat Product Review:
For years Gunnar Bjerk has been the in-house engineer at DFA, working on a number of their recordings under the tutelage of James Murphy while crafting the tender dance-pop of 'Back Then' in his spare time. It's a gorgeously wistful slow jam dedicated to his long-distance girlfriend and achieves that perfect balance of sadness and optimism in classic FM pop style. 'Stay' is its dancefloor-direct counterpart, propelled by a smudged and glimmering disco motor and brimming with positivity after his girlfriend moved to be with him. He's obviously well chuffed.
