Boomkat Product Review:
Cracking new slab from Horizontal Ground, following the sludgy trails of Andy Stott and FIS into murkiest, subterranean techno echelons. Essentially it's techno on 33-not-45, allowing everything to melt and droop downwards in a canny inversion of the genre's established principles. A-side delivers the dense, claustrophobic chug of 'In And Out' with its sweet chords saving it from the abyssal subbass pressure, beside the grotty, submersible descent of 'Auditory System'. B-side gives up a the water-boarded halfspeed industrial techno of 'Remove Yourself' and a gutter number named 'Membranous Labyrinth'. Recommended!
