Boomkat Product Review:
Bruno's been quite the busy lad this last year, with a twelve and a double album for US label Orac out in 2004. Here he special guests for Marc Leclair's label north of the border, which now really seems to be finding some sure-footed a&r moves. Track selection has been strong for Leclair, and here comes our man Bruno with a jittery glitchedfunk celebration. "Auto chico" easily outstrips anything on Pronsato's full length, synth surges and a true dynamite low-end for dark spaces and big nights. "Dirty goodbyes" is even more spannered, effectively tapping into what i like to refer as a boogizm sound, as that label so effectively channeled the messed up funk, excellent structure to the tune as well for the more adventurous mix monkeys amongst you. Easily the most disgraceful.
