Boomkat Product Review:
Absolutely shocking, skewed productions from Parisian producer Art Bleek, his first material for the Rush Hour crew and his first foray into Techno after a flirtation with more jazzy material for the Loungin' imprint. "Antichambre" spans the A-side and revolves around a metallic square bassline, so loud in the mix it more or less dominates proceedings from the start. Attaching itself to a Theo-style pace and structure, its situates itself somewhere between Minimal techno and squashed House, the sort of thing we just can't resist. "Damaged Language System" on the flip has a Chicago-ish vibe to it, more complex percussive arrangements and embedded basslines setting the template for some warm pads and shimmering keys, perfect for these still long evenings we're having. Brilliant stuff - limited copies!
