Boomkat Product Review:
**Newly remastered replica gatefold edition replete with rare photos and liner notes** Tangerine Dream's sophomore side 'Alpha Centauri' (1971) is a milestone in the galaxy of German kosmiche musik. On release it established a new pinnacle of sonic imagination and would cast a far-reaching influence over much progressive and electronic music to come. It was recorded after the departure of Conrad Schnitzler and Klaus Schulze from the group at the Dierks studio in Stommeln, lead by Edgar Froese and featuring Chris Frake and Seve Schroyder alongside guests Udo Dennebourg and Roland Pualyck. The word "trip" has never sunded more suitable to describe a record. Highly recommended!
