Boomkat Product Review:
Avant mavericks meet in a dada showdown of possessed aut-rock squall and febrile electronics on Alga Marghen's Planam sub-print.
Ghedalia Tazartes contributes his imaginative mixture of Pan-African-Asian singing styles against the Gol quartet's mind-trekking topography of blues stomp and decadent noise rituals conducted on electric Mandoline, Jew's Harp, Janotron, Flutes, Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar, and electronics.
At times they sound like the exotic sons of Captain Beefheart unwittingly conceived at a Moroccan commune and left in the mountains to their own devices, and at others like the missing link between The Sunburned Hand Of The Man and Nurse With Wound. It's a totally infectious riot of worldly sound and off-rock that makes much contemporary psychedelic rock seem potent as a homeopathic remedy.
