Boomkat Product Review:
You know, I was starting to wonder what happened to this guy. He bursts onto the scene with a high profile Mastercard advert and then disappeared a bit, but here he is: back for more with a new album on the horizon and some high profile tour dates with Duffy. 'All That I Have' gives a first taster of what's to come from the ensuing LP, and evokes a mood akin to The Last Shadow Puppets, delving into the more sophisticated side of sixties chart sounds in its quasi-vintage elegance. The Lord Skywave remix of 'All That I Have' avoids going all out electronic, but nonetheless manages to bulk up the percussion, switching things around in rhythmic terms. The Pilooski edit of 'Promised Land' on the B-side isn't quite so delicate in its balance of beats and songcraft, instead lending an overtly housey flavour.
