Boomkat Product Review:
Two new custom dancefloor dreamweapons from Lone, guaranteed to give you that E shiver, and arriving just in time for a summer of gurning and yearning. On 'Airglow Fires' he aims to channel some raw, 80s basement vibes, and it sure has a bump to it, with big, baggy vamps to send punters climbing the walls and sweat dripping from the ceiling, but there's also plenty of misty-eyed acid nostalgia in its shimmering, time-stretching breakdowns. 'Begin To Begin' tugs hard on the heartstrings too, its snappy, brukked-out drum chassis supporting nicely lubed Chicago organ licks, a wistful panpipe melody (it works!) and, at the last, some delightfully sentimental, sunrise-heralding pads.
