Boomkat Product Review:
Algorithmic whizkind Calum Gunn supplies CPU its wildest gear since SDEM with four tracks of awkward electro rhythm and probing tones.
Taking a sourjourn outside his Conditional label, Gunn gets up to playful hijinx at every curdled turn, firstly attempting to invert your legs with the bandy strut and mangled melody of ‘Esephony’, then greasing your hyperglyde with the pendulous patterns and keening contours of ‘Moebu’. ‘Ternenmarz’ twists out on a skittish 2-step donk flex, and he saves best for last with the air-carving chromatic pirouettes and coiled Autechrian funk of ‘Pins’.
