Boomkat Product Review:
Consummate house playas D'Marc Cantu and Tadd Mullinx reprise a rude yet deeply romantic Chicago sound as 2AM/FM for the latter's home-cooked Bopside label. By any measure it's their largest joint release to date, unfurling seven house cuts blessed with a more varied, fine-layered and crimped style than any previous outings. Highlights are many, and at best in the boogie house swang of 'What We Live For', the dextrous tribal shimmy of 'Crux Palm', and the prickling electro judders of 'The Barber and the Fish'. This is golden material for any Tadd Mullinx follower, trust.
