Boomkat Product Review:
Berlin's Sender Records celebrates 10 years of existence with a double CD set including one disc of exclusives and a mix CD from label head, Benno Blome. The exclusives extend from Daniel Dreier's dryly funky tech-house to tracks from Matt John, Shap, pan/tone, misc., Ronald Christoph, Someone Else and Jake Fairley with more than enough crisp and techy-rocking dance music to give you the sweats. However, it's in the mix format that the Sender cataogue really works best, with Blome sequencing 27 cuts from the aforementioned artists with more from Bruno Pronsato, Carsten Jost, A Guy Called Gerald, Sten (aka Lawrence), and Frank Martiniq, besides others. Dance music, Berlin style.
