Class is in session with Fauna Flash and Truby Trio's Christian Prommer yet again tackling some house and techno evergreens. Peter Kruder (of Kruder and Dorfmeister, of course) turns Ame's recent classic 'Rej' into a future jazz Schranz number, using the extended and tripping format of the original to allow himself ample room for his jazz antics. Prommer heads up the b-side with a far more engaging cut 'Dirty Drums'. Settling into a mean deep house groove, Prommer gradually introduces some tidy live percussion and a Manuel Gottsching esque display of minimal riffage from Peter Kruder, eventually developing a limbre and sophisticated deep house extension with immpeccably succinct yet dancably loose timing. Really classy stuff.
