**2013 reissue in 'Ruff Draft'-style printed matt card sleeve** It's always cause for celebration when a record from the late great J Dilla shows up, and this particular one is just great. The A-side is a lesser heard track which didn't quite make it onto Dilla's 2003 album 'Ruff Draft' - it's pure Dilla heat, the cuts here (never mind the sample source) are swinging and bumpin'. Flip over however for one of the original 'Ruff Draft' album's finest moments - 'Make 'em NV', a track laced with that sick sense of melody we all grew to love from the man. Xylophone samples and a swung beat make this one of Dilla's most essential productions.
