vondelpark - Dracula (Happa Remix)
More than a year after early entries for R&S, Vondelpark make a more subtle impression with the grown-up bass/pop of 'Dracula' backed with a forceful industrial techno mix by Happa. Coming off like Talk Talk meets James Blake, they stroke plush subbass and bobbling drums beneath plangent guitars and yearning vocals for the original 'Dracula', which is duly revised with a darker agenda by the yung Happa, following a celebrated remix of Four Tet and a cracking debut on Church with the sort of lithe, roiling, clunqfunq also purveyed by Blawan or Randomer, only with a more sensitive, melancholic feel.
