LA's Dãm-Funk pays tribute to the purple one and classic West Coast boogie ont he fifth platter from his classic LP, 'Toeachizown' (2009). The shoulder-swanging Linn drums are in full effect on 'Come On Outside' and squashed into the hazy chords of 'The Sky Is Ours' beside the steppin' twirl of 'Nu-Frontiers' on the frontside, whilst the flipside serves the delicious, aerial funk of 'Spacecapades', the magical synthwurk of 'Fantasy' and the sci-fi-esque hazy gaze of 'Keep Lookin' 2 The Sky'. Highly recommended to all retro funkateers!
