Dope edits of late '70s/mid '80s japanese disco and boogie! Face up is a string-heavy and fruity piece of Salsoul-esque Nippon disco with tidy dub FX and kinky percussion but the real gem is downtown; a sterling bit of J-Pop boogie with effervescent synths, yacht-wise guitar licks and twanging bass synth topped with Momoko's seductive vocal.
