Face up features the kicking, spacious jack of the title track, lean, punchy machine drums with just the right amount of warehouse reverb laced to a twirling acid line and Bam Bam/John Carpenter style darkside chords.There's also a 'Bonus Beat' mix for the DJs, and the minimal yet plush Detroit atmosphere of 'Descending' for contrast, while Specter's chirruping, smudged remix of the title cut sounds like James T Cotton at his best.
