Marcus Intalex aka Trevino weighs in his finest techno productions to date. The sense of purpose and balance of dark, fluid D&B elements and cavernous techno really hits the mark on this platter. Basically, he's got us dancing in our seats. Face up, 'Forged' plays out a lip-sucking badboy techno roller - the groove's jackin' and in the-pocket and surrounded by the sort of burly synth licks you'd expect in Berghain at 8am, or is it 3pm, it's daft o'clock anyway. B-side 'Uptight' introduces some wicked industrial clanks and incendiary square bass torque for the strongback stepper and 'Doldrums' loosens up with shifty syncopation and a screwfizzog bassline. Insta-copped.
