As Fact magazine put it "If Original Pirate Material was cooked up in the side-streets of Hong Kong, it might have sounded something like NXB", which sums up this anomaly perfectly - lean, emosh beats and synth pads produced by Haleek Maul's beatman Palmistry mixed with Vinh Ngan's hushed lyrical disclosure.
