south london ordnance - Big Boss Theme EP
**Mint green wax housed in debossed, reverse printed sleeve** SLO grafts three hard-bodied house shifters onto a prime plate for Amsterdam's Audioculture. With each new twelve the justifiably hyped DJ/producer is increasingly defining the new UK house sound with ever sharper contours and almost industrial production values, resulting in some of the heaviest sh*t around. On A-side 'Big Boss Theme' he slows his roll to a belly-tucked and grinding 111bpm synching swollen garage subs and dub technoid licks with an irresistible swing. B-side he bumps the tempo gauge to 120bpm for a grubby, ruttin' garage house thrust resolving with some nice chords, but ask us and we'll tell ya 'Harrier' is the one, jackin' on cold bass pressure with glinting techno drums and warmer chords leading to a proper, darkside breakdown.
