After issues from Arclight, Koreless and label boss Jacques Greene, Vase introduce Zodiac with five tracks of emotive, sample/repeat bass music strains. Opener 'Girlgirlgirl' sounds something like early Oneohtrix Point Never meets The Field on a hip hop lean, while 'Come' is earnest electronic soul in the vein of SBTRKT, Jessie Ware, etc. 'So Soon We Change' has strong hints of that classic Co La LP from last year in its choice of exotic samples and stuttering construction, and '138' is one for the trill slow house types.
