**Reverse card jacket housing fold-out A2 newsprint poster and download code redeemable from the label (good for two downloads!)** Underwater Peoples put another foot right with this bazonked ace from Black Dice (with brother Björn) and Terrestrial Tones (with Avey Tare) dude Eric Copeland. Bolting out of Brooklyn like a startled mutant rat, his 'Limbo' session follows a proliferation of killer solo work for Post Present Medium with an equally unhinged, but increasingly funky approach to his (de)compositions. The cannily titled 'Double Reverse Psychology' shreds sharp-angled rock 'n roll rhythms with a petrol-huffer's logic, splicing vocals and lop-sided melodies at will to leave us bozz-eyed but deeply satisfied, while 'Louie, Louie. Louie' and 'Fiesta Muerta' chug on slack, slappy kick pulses with sozzled loop abstractions. Which all pave the way for immense highlight 'Tarzan And The Dizzy Devils', a seven minute rut of gasping, crooked loops with a badass avant-boogie swing. We like this a lot.
