Like his contemporary, Liz Harris aka Grouper, he's mastered the art of clouded songcraft, singing distorted, glossolalic hymns to unknown spirits and lovers which, unless you require a stone mason to stir your heart, will surely bury themselves deep inside anyone with the ability to empathise with his intentions and emotions. A massive recommendation to fans of anything from Barn Owl to Grouper to Geoff Mullen or Richard Youngs.
