bonobo - Black Sands Remixed

Some have already appeared on vinyl - Cosmin TRG's uplifting 'Kiara' version, Floating Points' poised 2-step mix and Machine Drum's deft, Footwurkin' rebuild of 'Eyesdown', for example - but the rest are totally fresh to any format. Some stay relatively faithful to the original material - Banks' brooding Hip Hop revision of 'The Keeper', Falty DL's sweetly jazzy retouch of 'All In Forms' - whereas some take the opportunity for an away day into "chill-out" zones - Mark Pritchard's downtempo, maudlin remix of 'Stay The Same', raver Duke Dumont's expansive reconstruction edit of 'Black Sands' - while others just do their thing in style - the dextrous syncopation of Mike Slott's 'All In Forms' remix, or the head and chest-swelling compressions of Blue Daisy's 'Stay The Same' remix springing to mind.
