Four songs wide, 'So It Goes' features additional drums, piano, trumpet, sax and melodica plus some arrangements from his bandmate Ben Gates while Mat plays guitar, sings and writes at his home in Greenwich. He calls on inspiration from artists such as DM Stith, Jason Molina and Bowerbird for a down-home and tender style. Distinctive sleeve art was created by Rachael Edwards.
