Imbogodom is the unholy alliance of Alexander Tucker and Daniel Beban exploring parallel worlds of musique concréte and psyche-folk. Across its twelve tracks they render a fantastical, otherworldly space where each track is seemingly related to the next by an inter-dimensional wormhole, skipping realities between swirling electro-acoustics to pentangle-like folk, on through drone instrumentals, medieval incantations and other, unclassified ephemera. Lush and transporting. Recorded partly in Dungeness onto tapes, reel-to-reel machines, telephone and other objects. Mastered in New York. Classic-looking artwork by Mr. Tucker, himself.
