Wicked shakedown from two of Keysound's most enigmatic operators, including Kowton's oustanding 'Looking At You'! To cap a golden year for the Keysound label - one which saw sterling drops from Sully, LV, LHF, Vibezin and Damu - co-owner Dusk detaches from Blackdown for his first solo production, 'Fraction', a rolling, swinging slice of 2-step noir conjuring imagery of night drives in the concrete jungle. Tasked with the remix, Kowton turns in a more anxious, occluded revision under pressure of droning subs and twitchier, more meticulous syncopation, but ask anyone (within reason) and they'll tell you the biggie is 'Looking At You', a regular request on the Keysound radio show and quite possibly the finest cut in Kowton's cabinet. You need this one.
