It's a genuine cause for excitement round these parts; we've been caning his last 12" to bits and are in sore need of some newness, so this fits the bill nicely. Much like his last, there's the finest traces of R&B/Garage swing, minimised Techno contours and BASS in the balance, all poised and pointed with a beautifully ethereal quality which pushes our buttons. A-side features the lean, muscular Dub-Techno throb of 'Division', operating somewhere between Mosca and Skudge, besides the neat dip and shimmy of 'Grace'. Flipside, we're just floored by the effortless simplicity of fluid, bare bones rhythm programming on 'Foreign', and the crisp syncopation of 'Model', like some more robust version of the feathered rhythms preferred by Guy Andrews or James Blake. Straight up TIPPED!
