deadboy - Heartbreaker (Julio Bashmore Mixes)
Svelte and sophisticated reworks of Deadboy's sublime signature cut from Julio Bashmore. A-side's '2009' version is a beautifully reserved, deep-rolling House remix, delaying the gratification of the original with a masterfully smooth and gliding groove. The '2010' rework is possibly sharper, and sweetly more uplifting, substituting the original drums for a crisper 808 palette and rearranging the melody with a heart-fluttering bent. They're both quite highly recommended, as it goes.
