Welcome to the wild Latino-Tech sound of Gun Selectah, the tooled-up union of Mexicans With Guns and Toy Selectah. A-side 'Como Un Perro' comes on like a vintage Morricone theme updated with rave-ready gunshots, darkside bass and galloping/half-speed drums for the wile-grine. We could imagine this soundtracking some naughty Mexican B-movie watched on fast-forward in the midst of a bumper Burrito and Cola overload. 'Villa Ghetto' again goes for the new meets old vibe, mixing up spooked organs with brassy stabs and tribal grunts over swaggering drums, squelchy bass and peakin' synth rushes. Both tracks are bound to surprise the dance.
